Strange noises in the house
During our out of town trip one weekend, at about 1:00 AM, Scott with the Houston Paranormal Research Team recorded on his voice recorder a very strange random knocking sound, I mean very random and sounded like an off rhythm hammering on the wall. I thought I would go ahead and share with everyone the original sound clip, unedited, unmodified.
- Hammering (you can also hear some other voices, cant make it out though)
This different, yet very similar sound was recorded while me, my cousin and Scott were all present in the middle of the day. The sound was not heard by any persons in the house but picked up by the voice recorder.
From the sound of it at first I thought it might have been the hot water pipes in this old house knocking away as they normally do after about a minute of being on. Scott went with it and never really thought twice about until about a month later. He was over helping me setup the aquarium and we started to talk about the sound again. He mentioned that it was very strange, unlike the sound our hot water pipes make. He busted out the computer and started playing it for me for the first time. After hearing the sound I was kind of confused trying to think of what it could have been, the ferret? the cats? a person knocking on the door? at 1AM?? Oh man I was stumped and didn't know what to think of it. Yes it's an old house, but in the year and a half I've been living here I've never heard anything like that. Kind of creepy, but who knows what it really was.
