I recently purchased a used Zuiko 40-150mm f3.5-4.5 lens from a seller here locally. I decided on this since first off, it was the only one I could find find within my price range. Second, I’m no expert, I don’t really know what I’m doing

I did research a little and saw that it someone had taken pictures of the moon with it. I figured if it can do that, its probably more than what I need but what the heck my standard 14-42mm lens was getting old and didn’t quite get the shots I wanted with it. On the other hand, I do go out to the hill country quite a bit as of lately and it would be nice to get some pictures of wildlife. We’ve seen lizards, snakes, hawks, buzzards, foxes, and all sorts of other animals to photograph that I cannot get close to. |
| Here are my first shots of the moon. It wasn’t a very large moon that night, I was on full zoom and being in the city apparently makes a big difference. Whatever, here are the results. |
